Good Quality Matters
Updated: 6 hours ago

"Is your hair good quality?" Every company says yes, so I'd rather show you what it means for ours and how you can check it yourself.
What our hair is
All of our hair is 100% human hair, ethically sourced from China, Mongolia and Russia. We carry hand tied wefts, hybrid (genius) wefts, K-tips and tape ins.
The weights are consistent, which matters when you're planning a head. A hand tied weft is 11 inches wide and weighs 16.9 grams. A hybrid bundle is 50 grams in 18 and 22 inch and 60 grams in 24 inch, because longer hair needs more weight through the length or the ends read thin. Our Hybrid Deluxe is also 50 grams but 20% more dense, with more hair carried down to the ends.
How long it should last
With proper care, our hair lasts 9 months to well over a year. That range is real, and where a set lands in it comes down mostly to what happens at home, which is the part people don't expect.
What actually wears hair out
When someone emails me that their extensions went dry or started breaking early, it's almost always one of these:
Sulfates. Avoid any shampoo with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
Olaplex. I recommend avoiding it on extensions.
Too much purple shampoo. It has its place on a blonde, but too much of it breaks the hair down.
Heat near the band. Keep the flat iron and the blow dryer off the weft itself.
Thread tied too tight during the install, which stresses the hair at the top.
And one that's specific to our Deluxe: Hybrid Deluxe has to be blown out smooth after washing, or it mats.
Test it before you commit
You can buy one single hand tied weft to test the quality. Wash it, heat style it, tone it if you want to, and see how it holds up before you order for a client. That's honestly the best way to judge any hair company, including us.
To order, you'll need a pro account. It only takes your name, your cosmetology license number and the state you're licensed in.
